These are sites I visit on a regular basis--some everyday, some once a week or two (or if I realize it's been a while since I last visited).

Fun Stuff:

Penny Arcade - I love geek humor.

Inspiring/Educational:

TED - Incredibly inspiring and educational, where the most brilliant minds of the human race are invited to give short talks on fascinating subjects that range from technology, entertainment, design, the arts, scientific discoveries, politics, philosophy, economics, environment, human rights, education, and so on.

Art/CG:

CG Society - The largest English CG-related forum on planet earth. I'm a Forum Leader at cgtalk, and am involved with some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, including being on the panel of judges for their first Expose book, and also co-authoring their d'artiste: Digital Painting book.

Sijun Forums - Where artists of the digital age hang out. Good mixture of professional and amateurs sharing ideas, knowledge, criticisms, and heated debates. The traffic has slowed down in the last few years, but it's still a good place to visit, if only to check out the legendary speedpainting thread.

CGHub - Perhaps the best digital art showcase online community at the moment.

Musicians/Audio:

KVR - The best place for free music software plugins, discussions, latest news..etc.

V.I. Control - An excellent sample library discussion forum with an emphasis on orchestral compositions. Far less politics and than Northern Sound Source, and a better choice for those that like to speak out without getting banned because they criticized one of the paying developers on NSS.

Gearslutz.com - If you love audio production gears, this is the place to go and be a total gear slut.

Cakewalk Forums - I'm a Sonar user, so this one's a necessity for me.

Head-fi - The largest forum for headphone discussions--from high-end models that cost thousands of dollars, to el cheapo earbuds.

Film/Television/Games:

Rotten Tomatoes- Reviews, interviews, news, trailers, discussions..etc.

Metacritic - Similar to Rotten Tomatoes, but more information-driven and less chatter.

Photography:

photo.net - One of the best websites for photographers to showcase their work and learn.

Fred Miranda - Great website/forum for photographers to post their work and have discussions.

photosig.com - Another great website/forum for photographers to share and discuss photography.

dpreview.com - The one website that gives me all of my digital camera needs. News, reviews, sample gallery..etc.

photographyreview.com - The best site for photography equipment review I've ever seen. You can spend days just reading the reviews and researching your shopping list.

dc543.com - A Chinese digital phography forum.
