Becoming a Better Artist workshop July enrollment about to end

Only a few days left for the enrollment of July’s run of Becoming a Better Artist workshop!

The workshop is now running on CGMA‘s platform (CGMA and CGWorkshops merged), but I’m keeping the same format and approach I’ve been using, because it has worked really well and my students enjoy the freedom of being able to do the assignments at their own pace. The wonderful private Alumni forum is still going strong too, so come and join us!

sorry if this message too long and a inappropriate place to ask this.i already asked these questions to the help desk of cg society and i’m waiting for there answer but i think speaking to the teacher and looking for answers is important too. please email me your response at howlinwolf23349@gmail.com

thank you for taking the time to read.

Hello! I recently been looking at work shop on cg society for beginners artist and I want to find out more.

I really want to improve and I’ve been struggling trying to find practice and a routine to improve my skills.

I know that practicing every day is important but practicing with no knowledge is not good either.

I really want to get better and I really want to start doing comic books.

How would your course help me to get there?

i would like to find out general info on the workshop for beginners like are the classes one on one? are these classes tailored to what i want to accomplish? what else will i learn? ect

Thx! :3 there is one thing I gotta ask and it’s by no means a attack on your skills because I know that learning to draw is years of hard work.

$700 is a lot of money for just 7 weeks lessons and that’s basically like paying a entrance fee for a art school. I definitely want to join cg tho

I’m looking at this not only as a student but an investment in the future and I know for a fact 7 weeks is not going to make me a master but I know I can learn a lot.

But here’s my problem I want this to be a investment in the future because I want to draw comic books and keep developing my skills by myself when the lesson are over not just waste another $700
are theses classes just for 7 weeks only? Do I have to pay $700 dollars a month to renew my account or is it only pay once and that’s it?

Since the teachers make individual videos for students can I get in a video chat with them individually? How will the my instructor help me to reach my goal of drawing comics?

What are the times for the classes? Or are they pre recorded video with homework and then I turn it in and get my personal criticism?

Oh! Are there clubs in the forum? I would definitely like to meet like minded people like me who want to do comic books and animation~

I don’t have the money for the classes now but I’m definitely joining.I see that the classes are going to start so and I’m sure I’m not going to have the money by then.

Can I join whenever or do I have to for the next semester of class?

    Thx so much for answering all my questions.sorry if this is too long! ;3;

    Hi Luis,

Have you read the official Q&A thread for the workshop at cgtalk? There is a link to it in the course overview/enrollment page–did you see it? The thread contains many questions other people have asked about the workshop, and just about all of your questions have been asked in that thread before and I have given very detailed answers to those questions. Here’s the link to the thread: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=166&t=828694

If you still have questions after reading the thread, don’t hesitate to post your questions in the thread or contact me via Private Message or email.
