Here is the latest batch of new portraits I did recently. Some were for live class demonstrations for students, and some were for my own personal artistic gratification.

I’ve been experimenting with digital oil painting in Rebelle 5 Pro a lot lately, putting it through its paces. The watercolor liquid physics added a lot to the overall feel of this painting. What’s fascinating is when the watercolor drips over the oil paint, it melts the oil paint too and makes it run, but it will run very thick. Obviously, that’s not “real” physics because water and oil don’t mix, but it creates an interaction anyway, which I utilized in this painting.
The other ones below were done in either Photoshop, Procreate, Artstudio Pro, or a combination of those.

I have another version with splatter marks, but when I asked for opinions, vast majority of people preferred this version.
