We went to some tourist spot where it's supposed to be an "old town on the water." It was kind of a letdown, since it was crawling with tourists and crowded with shops. Commercialization can suck sometimes. All the pictures on this page are taken at that spot.
I was going to take a shot of the row of holes in the wall, then this guy rode into the shot. Even better.
I like how the sun hits just one shingle.
This guy and his cool hat gave me shutter itch.
Just had to take a closeup shot.
Behold my bad focussing technique. I should MF more often.
Kodak moment.
A shop owner invited me to go into the back and take pictures of the baked beans process. He said, "You can show this to your future children, as this is becoming a lost art."
Shrimp left out to dry. And a fly. Eww. ...
Leaf-wrapped pork. We had some. Yummy.
This is the so-called "old town on water." Sheesh.
Cool leaf sculptures.
The way people used to wash clothes.
Stretching contest. The little guy wins.
Stuff in a row. . ..can't resist shutter itch.
Beat up rides with less than four wheels gives me shutter itch too.
Fluffy flower.
Sometimes Elena makes me take pictures of stuff. This is one of them.
At least this guy didn't paint "BMW" on the back of his ride like that guy in Fuzhou.
My shutter itch knows no bounds.
He's got a bumpy ride ahead of him--the whole place is "paved" like that.
Two tricycles on a date. The blue one is out of the brown one's league.
I like how these two look like they're posing for tourists.
